That was AMAZING- GoPro Mountain Games 2024 will live in our hearts forever.

Two years ago our daughter competed at the GoPro Mountain Games, USA Climbing North America Cup competition. Unfortunately I was unable to attend, but when my wife got back, she could not stop talking about what amazing event it was. Now, if you know my lovely wife, she does not gush about things that are just so-so and this is yet another example of that.
At the time I was still knee-deep in development of our new product the Total Relief Station but she had to forcefully planted the seed in the back of my mind that we should get a booth at these games when it was ready. She knew the product was completely in line with everything these games represent so it just made sense. As a typical husband, I rolled my eyes and went about my day without really giving it the thought it deserved.
Flash forward to early June 2024 and I realized how right she really was. If you attended the Vail GoPro Games this year and leaned up against the Total Relief Station you know what I mean. The TRS-120 was conceived as a way to help me recover from my many injuries but developed into something just about everyone can use to help with theirs. It is a passion project for me now because I realize how much pain all of our bodies are in because we do not have a good way to address it so we just IGNORE it. This causes even more problems and I know that first hand.
This booth is a source of pride for my wife because she found the absolute perfect place to launch.
The feedback was fantastic, the interactions and conversations that we had were meaningful fun and enjoyable . I recognize the time and place and am very grateful to my wife for having pushed so hard to get us there.
If you enjoyed using the Total Relief Station by Max-Traxx, we would love to hear from you. If you were one of the many who told us of a gym or other location that the TRS-120 should be we want to make it a reality.
Also many of you mentioned an event that we should exhibit because you know everyone there would benefit from using it I just want to say thank you and we want to be there. Reach out to us and we will be there to have some more fun.
Even more than that, I want to recognize the athletes that competed in these events. What an outstanding group of individuals you are. I don’t believe I had a bad conversation with any of you athletes in the athletes lounge. You were kind, cordial, competitive, friendly, and just plain awesome.
The top of this post is a video of one of the events that really captured my imagination. I believe it was called Pepe’s Face Off where these exceptional athletes climb up a 45° pitch Hill at an elevation of 8200 feet and do as many loops straight up the hill then down a mountain Trail as they can in 30 minutes.
Someone explained this event to me my jaw dropped. I might make it a third of the way up the hill and tap out.....I'd blame it on a torn hammy, a sprained ankle and two broke legs but the real reason is --it borders on INSANITY. The top competitor on the men’s side matched last year’s record of six but I swear did not miss being able to execute a seventh lap more than a minute if even that. Insanity!!!
This type of event is unbelievable to me that anyone would want to compete but it sparks so much imagination about what we are truly capable of so thank you to those that did!! You make my hill runs just a bit more motivating.
